Big Brother

This week Callister is 8 weeks old! I can't believe it's already been 2 months since I had him. He's such a wonderful addition to our family! He even slept 6 hours without wanting to eat last night, so I'm doing great! :) I had to share this picture, because I had put Callister down on the couch for a few minutes while he was sleeping so I could get something done in the kitchen. A couple minutes later, I hear Connell say, "Mama, baby!" He usually says that when the baby is getting fussy to let me know, but I peeked at the couch, and this is what I saw. Connell had somehow picked up Callister without waking him up or hurting him and was holding him on his lap! Well, it was just too cute for me to get mad at Connell for picking him up by himself! We tell him he can't hold the baby without one of us helping him, but I guess he had to prove to me that he can do it without our help. What a sweet big brother! I'm so glad he loves his brother!
