July!

We had a fun 4th of July with JayC's family. The parade was awesome, as usual. We had a barbecue at our house with everyone and then watched the Melaleuca fireworks that night. I love our country and our freedom!

Melaleuca picnic. Everything was free: snow cones, drinks, popcorn, cotton candy, kids rides, food (pigs on a spit even), and ice cream. Face painting. Also, there was a huge drawing for lots of prizes. Frank Vandersloot is a fun boss! It was super hot, but a blast. Maybe next year, JayC will win something!

Connell turned 10 on the 8th! Double digits!

Connell and his cake. He had a friend party this year! They played with water balloons, the slip and slide, and on the trampoline. Then pizza, cake and presents. He said it was the "best birthday ever!" (He says that every year.:)

Connell was lucky to have grandpa Jay and Tammy here this year!

Brothers!

 Connell is such a good kid. He is a good big brother and watches out for his younger siblings. He is super smart and does really well at school. His teacher loves how meticulous he is at everything he does. He reads the instructions and does it correctly the first time. He is reading the Harry Potter series and loves the characters. He also received his Bear badge for cub scouts and is now a Webelo!

Cordellia turned 2 on the 18th!
