Connell finally lost his first tooth on Friday! He was so excited! He lost it at school, and accidentally lost it on the playground, so he couldn't put it under his pillow, but he wrote a note instead to ask the Tooth Fairy if she would still leave some money for him. She left him a nice note telling him she would and left a whole dollar! What a lucky kid! I think we only got a quarter when I was a kid. I guess it's the cost of inflation. :) He had just drank a cherry Icee to celebrate, so his tongue was really red for pictures! So proud of him! I love these first milestones.

I can't believe it! That seems early, but what would I know? Was it loose for awhile beforehand? I'm glad it all ended well after losing it at school. I remember I lost a tooth that fell out at almo elementary. It was snowy and my white tooth just couldn't be found. But I think I remember finding it when the snow melted weeks later. (who knows how reliable that memory is)
Ha ha- at first I thought he had a bloody mouth from losing the tooth! What a cute boy, and a fun adventure for his first one!
