Happy New Year everyone!! 2012! I remember when I thought the year 2000 would be weird, and here we are 12 years later than that. Crazy! We had a fun, quiet Christmas with just the 4 of us. I posted the pictures backwards, like I used to have to do on my blog to get the pictures in the correct order, so they turned out the one I wanted last is now first. I will figure it out eventually, I'm sure...
Anyway, so above is Connell on Christmas afternoon. Yes, he had way too much fun (and probably too much sugar!) We didn't really get much for Callister this year, since he doesn't really care about anything but the wrapping paper. And we figure he'll keep playing with Connell's old toys for the time being. He had lots of fun watching Connell unwrapping presents.
I know, Spongebob Spudpants?? And Woody Potato Head? Very cool!!
Here are a few of the gifts. Connell was definitely excited about everything. And his big present was his first real bike! Someday he will actually figure out how to use the pedals...
I love the look of awe on Callister's face as he checks out Connell's helmet!
I love those baby blues!!
Almost zombie-like in his excitement...
We had a lovely visit from Emmy and Mike and their girls on the Thursday and Friday before Christmas! The kids had sooo much fun together, especially playing with all our potato head pieces. So fun! They played wonderfully while we adults (of course) played some fun board games. We're so glad they made some time for us on their way to Mike's family! It really helped me not miss family so much for the rest of the holiday celebrations.
2011 was great with the addition of our adorable baby Callister! And now if my back will continue to cooperate, here's hoping for a great 2012!

That was so much fun! Little Callister looks like he was just soaking everything in! Cutie jammies. It looks like a great Christmas, fun and lazy. :) Man, if you've already posted about CHristmas now I really need to post about ours as well...
